Riders,
As I write, temps are pushing 100+ and we are truly in summer. But despite the high temperatures, we have some great news and even better riding opportunities coming quickly…
Schedule:
Our summer schedule starts early and ends before peak temps each day. Most days have a first on-track session at just before 8a, and finish (after six 25-minute sessions!) at 3p. That means most of the riding day is a good 10 degrees or more below the forecast high – huge win!
This August and September are full of exciting events:
The Perfect Day returns on Monday, August 3rd with a Clockwise run direction!
Our regular schedule has plenty of 2-on-1, 1-on-1 and Adventure Rider coaching dates available!
Racing:
The new SportRiderRacing Endurance series is great fun: teams are competing, having a great time, and we are excited about providing an easier, simpler path to racing fun! There’s two events left this year:
On September 5th, our first big bike event is a relay race with LeMans style start – great team competition for riders on big bikes who want to ride their own machine.
The final round of our mini endurance series has moved to October 4th. Huge fun and reasonable costs make the series appealing.
For riders interested in sanctioned competition, we our CMRA licensing class on Sunday August 2. The class includes instruction, a half-day of track time, and a mock race: everything you need for your provisional novice license with the CMRA
Tires, parts and support:
We have plenty of Pirelli in stock including SC1, SC2 & SC3 slicks and extra sets of sticky compounds for big and little bikes supporting our upcoming coaching and race events. In stock tire warmers from Woodcraft, SBS brake pads, Motul fluids, kneepucks and Sidi replacement toe sliders keep you and your bike ready for your best lap times, too!
