Brrrrr… When does summer get here?
Riders,
Funny statements aside, we are less than a month away from the beginning of the 2026 riding season here in North Texas. So, let’s get to what’s important: when can we ride?
The schedule is absolutely packed this year.
Coaching:
2026 SRC coaching events begin on Friday, February 27th. Dates through May are listed, with a mix of 2-on-1 and 1-on-1 events – nearly thirty dates are already listed!
SRC Skills & Drills returns for 2026 on Easter Monday, April 6, and it’s better than ever! Learn more about our Skills & Drills day!
SRC Ladies Day returns on Monday, May 25th and welcomes female riders only.
Racing:
Our first CMRA Race License School will be on Sunday, March 15. Riders looking to participate in sanctioned CMRA sprint and endurance racing can license with SportRiderRacing as a continuing partner.
The first 3-hour SportRiderRacing lightweight endurance event will be Saturday, April 4. We are so excited about this series and look forward to great racing action – rumor has it some fast teams are already building plans to participate.
If you are planning to race with us, be sure to grab a copy of the Rulebook and give it a quick read. While the program is designed to be a great steppingstone to racing, there are still some basic requirements for machine and rider preparation required. New racers should plan to attend the SRR Race License School on the day of the race event.
Adventure:
AdventureRiderCoaching is running in soft-launch mode! We are taking riders on a limited basis and running very small (1-2 riders) groups as we continue to build the program. Request a date here, schedule and weather conditions permitting, of course.
Season Prep and Get-Ready:
4 pallets of Pirelli go-fast are in stock. New sets of warmers from Woodcraft. SBS brake pads, Motul fluids, kneepucks and more. We have your bike prep and consumables in stock and ready for you.
If you are racing next year, we are set up to prepare your machine to pass tech with any sanctioning body or just make it safer for your next track day. We are AMB MyLaps dealers, with new non-subscription transponder units in stock for rental and sales. Rental units with cloud-based lap time retrieval will be $25/per day at SRC and SRR events, and new non-subscription units are available for purchase for $675.
And… we love the KTM Duke 390, too! So, we’ve added a second one to the fleet, and expect to have it online and ready for customer rental days with the beginning of the season.
