Riders,
The riding season is here! We’ve already had our first great weekend and first rainout day! That’s pretty typical of North Texas spring, of course, but we were happy to be able to move riders to better days and make the best for everyone’s track time and riding opportunities.
And so many opportunities exist, too! Let’s cover some key upcoming events...
Skills & Drills
There’s nothing else like it. Learn more about the front brake and advancing visual skills on this day than any ordinary track day. If your goal is to advance your skills as a rider, this is the day for you.
SRC Skills & Drills returns for 2026 on Easter Monday, April 6, and it’s better than ever! Learn more about our Skills & Drills day!
Ladies Day
SRC Ladies Day returns on Monday, May 25th and welcomes female riders only.
Coaching Days
2026 SRC coaching events continue through the spring. Dates through May are listed, with a mix of 2-on-1 and 1-on-1 events!
Adventure Riding
AdventureRiderCoaching is running in soft-launch mode! We are taking riders on a limited basis and running very small (1-2 riders) groups as we continue to build the program. Request a date here, schedule and weather conditions permitting, of course.
New Video Content
Did you know SRC has a YouTube channel? If you haven’t checked out SRC online content, you are missing out! Find it here: https://www.youtube.com/@SportRiderCoaching
There are the usual fun shorts and bits, but the channel’s core focus is rider education:
The Eagles Canyon Annotated Laps playlist includes videos with slower and quicker laps with corner-by-corner annotation of the line and best practices for getting around ECR in both CCW and CW directions.
Two playlists use a combination of drone and on-bike footage to illustrate lines and riding techniques at Eagles Canyon. Check out the Corner by Corner – Counter Clockwise playlist for our usual run direction days, and for the few times a year we get to flip the track around, watch the Corner by Corner – Clockwise videos!
All new for 2026 is the Corner-by-Corner with SportRiderCoaching video series! In this series, we explore each section of Eagles Canyon Raceway using drone, pro-coach and race footage and explore racing techniques, overtaking, lines, and much more. The first episode is out now with new releases scheduled every 2-3 weeks throughout the year.
Racing
Our first events of the year are coming in HOT!
Get your CMRA Race License at our upcoming CMRA License School on March 15th.
Round #1 of the SportRiderRacing Endurance Series is Saturday, April 4th. Get your team signed up now, and if you are new to racing or don’t have a SportRiderRacing license, get that at the SRR race licensing school on the day of the race!
We want you to try racing, and we aspire to make your first racing experience as inviting as possible. Let us know how we can get you racing!
Other items of note
SportRiderCoaching now has an A.E.D. in the SRC garage. It’s located in a metal AED cabinet on the southwest corner. With so many of your SRC coaches first-aid and CPR qualified thanks to the United States Motorcycle Coaching Association certification, it just made sense to have this potentially lifesaving equipment on hand. Thank you, Dr. Carl Price, MotoAmerica Chief Medical Officer (and SRC coach!), for helping us select the right model to keep on hand.
Rider Support
Plenty of Pirelli go-fast is in stock including SC1, SC2 & SC3 slicks, Trackday tires and more. New sets of warmers from Woodcraft. SBS brake pads, Motul fluids, kneepucks and Sidi replacement toe sliders, too! We have your bike prep and consumables in stock and ready for you.
If you are racing next year, we are set up to prepare your machine to pass tech with any sanctioning body or just make it safer for your next track day. We are AMB MyLaps dealers, with new non-subscription transponder units in stock for rental and sales. Rental units with cloud-based lap time retrieval will be $25/per day at SRC and SRR events, and new non-subscription units are available for purchase for $675.
And… we love the KTM Duke 390, so there’s a new one in the fleet. It’s ready for rent now, just $300 per day!
